combo brow - $550.00

This combines both microblading and a shading technique to give a more filled in or ‘Powder Brow’ look. The shading  method involves the application of thousands of tiny little dots of pigment, inserted into the skin, gradually building up a color and defined shape. This is done with a special grouping of ultra-thin needles and done with diluted pigment. The shading is done only to the top layer of the skin and so the effects are more temporary and last about 6-9 months

color revival & touch ups - $150.00

This service is for previous clients who feel like they need an additional touch-up.

It will include additional hair-strokes or shading.

Micro-Needling

Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a popular treatment for fine lines, acne scars, texture, tone and hyperpigmentation.  At ReBelle Beauty I use InnoPen which is considered on of the most advanced automated micro-needling devices on the market.

What Is Micro-Needling?

Micro-Needling utilize tiny needles to create hundreds of controlled micro-injuries to the skin.  The skin’s natural repair process then stimulates production of new collagen and elastin, which results in the reduction of wrinkles and scars and improves skin texture.  Micro-Needling also creates superficial micro-channels which allow topical serums (such as TNS Growth Factors or hyaluronic acid) to be absorbed more effectively into the skin.

What Are The Benefits of Micro-Needling?

Micro-Needling treatments reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, tone and texture.  Patients notice a fresher appearance or glow to the skin from Micro-Needling.

How Is The Procedure Done?

A sterile cartridge containing 13 nano needles is attached to the InnoPen.  Your provider will apply a thin layer of a topical gel to your skin and select the appropriate pen setting based on your unique needs.  Next, in a single motion, the pen will be gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered.  The procedure takes 30 to 45 minutes depending on the area to be treated.

What Does It Feel Like?

The feeling associated with the InnoPen  is similar to light sandpaper being moved across the skin.  While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating tip reduces discomfort while the applied hydrating gel also makes the treatment more tolerable.  A topical numbing cream can be applied to further reduce discomfort.

What Is The Downtime?

251Marcie.jpg

Immediately after the treatment you will notice a bright redness to the skin.  The total healing time depends on the InnoPen setting used and the number of overlapping passes your provider performs. On average, patients are red up to 2 to 4 days. Many patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.

When Will I See The Results?

Patients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Some patients only require a single treatment once per year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 2-3 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart.  For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars, it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 6-week intervals.

How Is InnoPen Different From Lasers?

No heat also equals less downtime! Most InnoPen patients are red for 24 hours or less. That advantage means you can get the procedure performed on a Friday and be back to normal for work on Monday.

Is teeth whitening for everyone?

The DaVinci teeth whitening system provides dramatic results for anyone who wants to whiten her teeth. This includes people with teeth that have been consuming substances such as coffee, tea, soda, smoking, etc. It will also lighten teeth stained by tetracycline, speckled by fluoride, or hereditary discoloration.

Should I consider teeth whitening?

Studies have shown that people with whiter teeth look younger and that there is a correlation between high self-esteem and a bright, confident smile!

How white will my teeth get?

After whitening with the DaVinci teeth whitening system, teeth shades brighten an average of 5-14 shades on the teeth shade card. Although individual results will depend on how discolored the teeth were originally, the end result will be brighter, shiny teeth. Remember, everyone’s teeth are different and your teeth will only go as white as your teeth will go. Everyone’s teeth has a stopping point.

How long will my teeth whitening last?

This will vary from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle, but the effects usually last for 1 to 3 years with proper maintenance. Periodic touch-up treatments are recommended for customers who frequently consume products such as coffee, dark soda, tea, red wine, tomato sauces and other staining products such as tobacco.

Is teeth whitening safe?

Yes, our products are made in our USA laboratories and our FDA compliant. Scientific research has shown that the active ingredients in the Da Vinci teeth whitening gel‘s are safe and effective for cosmetic teeth whitening. The DaVinci teeth whitening gel does not change or damage the structure of the teeth; it nearly lifts and removes the stains, making your teeth brighter.

How long will a teeth whitening session take?

Teeth whitening session will depend on the discoloration of your teeth but in most cases it is anywhere from 90 to 120 minutes.

Does it hurt?

Most clients experience no sensitivity during or after the session. Some percentage of clients may feel some sensitivity on the teeth or soft tissue, especially if they consume very cold or hot foods or drinks within two hours after the treatment. Therefore, it is recommended that clients avoid consuming extremely hot or cold food or beverages for the first two hours following the treatment. Any sensitivity is usually gone within 24 hours.

Will teeth whitening work on crowns, feelings, veneers, and bridges?

Da Vinci teeth whitening will remove stains from composite materials but will not whiten the composite materials beyond the original color of the material used. Da Vinci teeth whitening works well if your natural teeth are darker than the composites original color. Teeth whitening is a good option if you plan to replace the crown or filling after your whitening treatments. Da Vinci teeth whitening will not damage or hurt the composite material.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Microblading?

Microblading (also referred to as Semi Permanent Hairstrokes, 3d Brows, Feather Strokes, Micro-strokes) is the process of delicately implanting pigment into the skin with a sterile micro needle to simulate the appearance of natural hair.

Hairstrokes are meant to be a subtle, natural enhancement and to create fuller more beautiful brows.

What are Semi-Permanent Powder Brows?

This is the process of delicately implanting pigment into the skin with a sterile micro needle to simulate the appearance of beautifully shaped brows. Semi-Permanent Powder brows are meant to enhance and define your brows. The shading method involves the application of thousands of tiny little dots of pigment, inserted into the skin, gradually building up a color and defined shape. This is done with a special grouping of ultra-thin needles and done with diluted pigment. The shading is done only to the top layer of the skin and so the effects are more temporary and last about 6-9 months. This look is recommended for people who fill in their brows and wear makeup on a daily basis.

How long does Microblading last?

Cosmetic tattooing is considered semi-permanent as it does not wash away, however pigments are designed to fade over time. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications, and pigment color affect the longevity of the tattoo. The sun and some kinds of anti aging creams that have ingredients such as Retin A, retinols, glycolic acids and lightening properties can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down. To take care of your brows, follow the aftercare instructions and touch-up your brows every 1-2 years (as needed).

*Please note that final results vary and CANNOT be guaranteed due to the nature of skin as it heals. A follow-up appointment is recommended at 5-8 weeks where we can assess your pigment retention and make any changes necessary. Some clients may require more than one follow-up to reach their desired results at an additional cost. Again this will depend on aftercare, skin type, etc.

What factors will affect my Microblading?

Oily Skin: Increased oil production can cause hairstrokes to blur and heal lighter and powdery.
Smoking: Smokers may notice that their Semi-Permanent Cosmetics will fade faster.
Anemia and iron deficiency: Your body will absorb these iron based pigments more quickly.
Sun exposure: Increased exposure to the sun will cause premature fading. You will want to use a sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 30 to protect against fading and I recommend a powder sunblock that can be reapplied throughout the day while in the sun.
Age and metabolism. The Faster your metabolism the faster the pigment will fade.
Bleeding during the procedure: Excessive bleeding during your procedure will greatly affect how your body retains pigment. While this is not entirely in our control, it is important that you follow before care instructions to help minimize bleeding. This includes avoiding blood thinning medications, and alcohol before your procedure.
Thyroid Conditions: Sometimes this condition causes client to metabolise pigment differently and can cause color issues so make sure to discuss all health issues with your technician ahead of time.

Does microblading hurt?

Topical anesthetics are used to make you comfortable during your procedure, however pain tolerance varies from client to client. Most of my topicals contain a 5% lidocaine such as Zenza. Sometimes a secondary numbing will be used that contains Tetracaine and Benzocaine. Please let me know if you have allergies to any of these. Having the procedure during your menstrual cycle may increase your sensitivity.

What kind of pigment is used in Microblading?

Currently I use L.I. Pigment. I chose this line because of its performance, longevity, and color consistency.

Why is line so good? Well a lot has to do with the manufacturing processes: the way the pigment is made, blended, broken down, and mixed. The concentrated levels and most importantly, the fusion method of the pigments.

Recognizing the need for not only safe pigments that stay, but pigments that will hold true to color over time and not change color, LI Pigments realized that with a few simple formula modifications and a unique mixing process, they had developed a pigment line that would out perform any other. Li Pigments introduced “Fusion Technology” to the industry back in 1992 revolutionizing the permanent makeup industry.

Once LI Pigments accomplished this remarkable result in pigment performance, they developed and released their own pigment line. Hence in 1998 Aqua™ & Velvet™ were born with this unique process to fuse ingredients for natural long lasting true color. Darlene Story…the owner and developer of Li Pigments is a brilliant pigment maker and Aqua & Velvet is her baby. Aqua & Velvet has been in existence for 16 years now. She has had 16 years to make this pigment line what it is today. She is constantly learning new ways to make this line even better and applies these new technologies to the Aqua & Velvet line. Every single pigment/color formulation in the Aqua & Velvet line are unique and exclusive to the Aqua & Velvet line.

Is Microblading right for me?

Microblading heals best on normal to dry skin types. Hairstrokes may not work well on clients with very oily skin, large pores or previous permanent cosmetics tattoos. On those with oily skin types and larger pores, results may appear softer and powdery.

Microblading is designed to blend with your natural brow hair, the more hair you have the more realistic results will appear. If you have very little or sparse eyebrow hair results will appear flatter, and it is possible that you may need more than two sessions to achieve your desired result.

Microblading is not meant to entirely replace makeup. Eyebrow pencils and powders may still be needed.

You cannot receive hairstroke brows if you are:
• Pregnant or nursing
• Are currently using Accutane or have used Accutane within the past year
• Have a freshly tanned/sunburned face
• Are on blood thinning medications or antibiotics
• Have Rosacea
• Are currently undergoing cancer treatment
• Prone to Keloid scars

Are Semi-Permanent Powder Brows right for me?

Powder Brows are beautiful on ALL skin types! If you have rosacea or very red skin tones your results will be much better with the “Powder Brow” Technique.

You cannot receive Powder Brows if you are:
• Pregnant or nursing
• Are currently using Accutane or have used it in the last 3 months
• Are currently undergoing cancer treatment
• Have a sunburned face

Powder Brows are designed to look like soft powdery makeup. This can replace makeup but will still look natural. Some clients will add a touch of makeup if they want a “bold brow”.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

If you have reference pictures, please feel free to bring these to your appointment. Along with the pencil or powder you are currently using.

If you tint your brows you will want to do so 72 hours before your appointment.

If you prefer to have your eyebrows waxed/threaded please do so at least 3-4 days before your appointment, otherwise we can remove stray hairs when we design your brows.

Shower and wash your face the day of your appointment. Please come makeup free. (Mascara is ok)

You must not use Retin-A near the brow area 2 weeks before or after the procedure. The use of Retinols/Retin A/Glycolics will also effect the longevity of your pigment so applying it at least an inch away from the brows is recommended.

You will need to avoid pools, lakes, salt water and extreme sun exposure for at least two weeks following your appointment, so make vacation plans accordingly!

No Botox, fillers, Microdermabrasion, chemical peels or anything of the like for at least 2 weeks prior to your procedure.

Doing any of the following will cause excessive bleeding during your procedure and will hinder your final result!:
• Do not work out the day of your appointment.
• You should not take (unless prescribed by a Doctor) any medications that may thin your blood (i.e. Aspirin, Ibproferen, fish oil, Vitamin E) 48 hours before or immediately after your procedure.
• Do not drink alcohol within 24 hours of your procedure.
• Avoid caffeine for 12 hours before your procedure.

What can I expect immediately after my appointment?

In the hours following your procedure your Microbladeding will appear much darker and bolder than it will heal due to oxidation in the surface layer of your skin. Your Semi-Permanent Cosmetics will also appear warmer in color. You may experience some redness or swelling around the treated area, this typically disappears within 48 hours.

Around day 3 you may notice some flaking or light scabbing on the treated area, do not pick at it, doing so can result in loss of pigment in those areas. Brows may appear spotty or patchy until the entire brow has finished healing. You may notice that some areas may appear very light or even to have lost pigment entirely after the first appointment this is because your skin forms a protective layer over the microbladed area and is still in the healing process. The epidermis will normalize over the next 4-6 weeks and softened pigment should appear more clearly on surface of the skin.

At 4-6 weeks your brows will be fully healed. Whatever pigment that does not return will be addressed at your touch up appointment or if you’d prefer darker, bolder brows we can always add more color or dimension during that appointment!

Do I need a touch-up/follow-up appointment?

100% Yes! All Semi-Permanent Cosmetic procedures require and include 2 sessions, an initial session to establish shape and a perfecting session 5-8 weeks later. During your 5-8 week follow-up we can assess your pigment retention and make any adjustments needed.
This follow-up also increases the longevity of your Semi-Permanent Cosmetics.

Do I need a consultation before getting Semi-Permanent Cosmetics?

I do offer consult appointments on location for a $50 fee. This fee will be deducted from your procedure if you choose to go forward with the procedure. I also do phone consult free of charge if you choose to have one after booking but before your scheduled appointment. However I book enough time to discuss your needs and wants at the initial appointment. Correction work needs to be discussed before booking so please contact me first if you have had previous PMU work. This way we can schedule adequate time.

How long does the procedure take?

Initial appointments take approximately 2 hours. This includes the designing process, numbing the area, and the microblading procedure. Follow-up sessions and Combo Brow times can vary so please contact me for further information on those procedures.

I have had my brows tattooed before, can you touch them up?

I require that anyone who has had their brows tattooed previously by another artist text me a picture before booking an appointment. This way we can discuss price, your options and schedule sufficient time.

How can I book an appointment?

Appointments can be made by clicking the ‘BOOK’ button and you can book directly online.

A $50 deposit is required to ensure you are serious about receiving your Brows. Your deposit will go towards the final price of your brows. The remainder of your balance is due at the time of your appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Deposits are fully refundable as long as you give 72 hours notice. I also require 72 hours notice to make any changes to your appointment. Giving less than 72 hours notice for a cancellation will result in the forfeit of your deposit. If you cancel, are more than 15 minutes late, or do not show up to your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited. This may seem strict but it is to insure you are serious about your appointment and should you cancel it gives me time to fill your spot.
